DO YOU KNOW YOUR ABC's? #2.

INTRO:

1. This is another lesson along the line of the first one tht was presented on this subject.

A. Again, let me make some statements that people make about the subject.

B. Some say: "Why, that is as simple as ABC." or "Why, he is still in his ABC's on that subject".

2. Now we shall proceed to show that if we know our ABC's in the way the Lord expects us to know them, we will not be simple and we will be pretty smart.

GLORIFY: -- 1 Cor. 6:20; Matt. 5:14-16.

HEAVEN: -- Phil. 3;20; 1 Pet. 1:4; Psa. 115:3.

IN CHRIST: -- Gal. 3:26,27; Eph. 1:3.

JUST: -- Prov. 12:5; Lk. 14:14.

KNIT: -- Eph. 4;16; Col. 2:2,19.

LIBERAL: -- Rom. 12:8; 2 Cor. 9:6-11.

UNMOVEABLE: -- 1 Cor. 15:58; Psa. 16:8; 55:22.

VISIT: -- Matt. 25:36; Jas. 1:27.

WORSHIP: -- Jno. 4:23,24; Matt. 4:10.

XENIA: Given to hospitality: -- Rom. 12:13; Heb. 13:2.

CONCLUSION:

1. What about it, do you really know your ABC's?

A. If not, you need to start studying.

B. You will find a copy of them in the Bible.

2. Let me say with the apostle Paul: "Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." Eph. 5:17.
