• Making The Right Choice In Life
• Everything we do in life is done by the choices we make.
• Our choices have consequences

• Introduction
• While we may recognize that we have choices, and we are the ones to make those choices, there are doctrines of men that eliminate choices for us.
• The false teaching of Calvinism is the most popular doctrine outside of the Bible.
• There are many different teachings and understandings of Calvinism.
• The main points or tenets of Calvinism remove all choices from mankind, and place everything into God’s hands.
• The problem with this teaching is that God has given us things whereby we must choose to do or not do something.
• And by either doing or not doing, God will decide to punish or reward.
• I realize that exposing error can be difficult for many.
• Some might get bored by hearing about the error, and the scriptural reproof of such error being taught.
• Some may not care that error can cause lost souls.
• Some may not care to hear the truth.
• Either way, it is incumbent upon every Christian to know the truth that sets us free.
• I say that the best way to prevent error is to be totally involved in the Bible and study of the Scriptures, so that we can know when something is not right.

• Let us look at some scriptures about choice, and see if we are given the ability to make a choice.
• Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;”
• God had given them the choices and told Israel which choice was the best.
• Joshua 24:15 "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
• In other words---make up your minds.
• Proverbs 1:29 “Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD”,
• Proverbs 3:31 “Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways;”
• Proverbs 12:26 “The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray”.
• Deuteronomy 30:15 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil”,
• Proverbs 12:28 “In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death”.
• Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit”.
• Jeremiah 21:8 "Now you shall say to this people, 'Thus says the LORD: "Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death”.
• Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace”.
• Deuteronomy 28
• 1-14----Blessings for obedience
• 15-68----Penalties for disobedience
• Same reading in Leviticus 26
• 1-13 Blessings for obedience
• 14-46 Penalties for disobedience
• Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
• Galatians 6:10 “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

• Conclusion
• Everyone has a choice of good or evil
• Everyone makes their own choice
• You have a choice today to submit to God and start serving God, or choose to keep in your current condition that will result in eternal damnation.

• Now, you have a choice.>>>>>>
• Do you believe that Christ is the Son of God?
• Are you willing to repent of your sins?
• Will you confess your faith before men?
• Are you willing to be baptized for the remission of your sins?
• Are you ready to live the rest of your life for God?
