Dangerous Nations Among Us
Many nations want to destroy us as Americans, but more importantly, as Christians.

Introduction
In the world today there are always nations that keep people in despair of danger.
Nations today that hold so much ability of destruction in their hands, seem to keep us worried of the dangers that might befall us or our children at just any time.
But our primary worry should be the dangerous nations among us religiously, for they are always prevalent and are very deceitful in their attacking.
Let's consider some of these nations by name so that we will know them:

ABOMINATIONS
Are Loathesome, Detestable, Abhorable, Repugnant, Containing idolatry with all of its pollutions,.
Deuteronomy 25:13-16; you must be honest and fair.
Deuteronomy 18:9-12 witchcraft is forbidden.
Proverbs 6:16-19 Six things the LORD hates, yea, seven are an abomination.

ASSASINATIONS
Comes from the Latin word "sicarius", from "sica", which means a dagger, a murderer, a bandit or robber.
Acts 21:38; this is the only place in the New Testament where this word is found.
There are several ways that one can be assasinated:
His Character.
His name.
His influence.
Proverbs 22:1 A good name to be desired that riches.
James 1:26 Religion worthless if don’t control tongue.
Titus 3:2 Do not malign anyone for any reason.

DOMINATION
To exercise authority over, or to rule over.
1 Timothy 2:12 Women not to exercise authority over men.
Ephesians 5:23 Husband head of wife.
Psalm 119:133 “Don’t let sin rule me”.
Romans 6:14 Sin shall not be master over us.
3 John 9,10 Diotrephes loved preeminence.
1 Peter 5:1-4 Elders not lord over flock

CONTAMINATION
Things that are not pure.
Things that are unclean.
Things that are polluted or unworthy.
Romans 12:1 we are to be a living sacrifice.
James 1: 27 describes pure religion
Titus 2:11,12 The grace of God teaches us to be unstained from the world
Psalm 12:6; Psalm 19:8 The words of the Lord are pure.
1 Timothy 5:22 keep yourself free from sin.

DISCRIMINATION
Showing partiality to certain ones.
Proverbs 24:23 To show partiality in judgment is not good.
Jude 16 grumblers to make themselves look better than others.
James. 2:1-5 Fine clothes vs. rags—treat them the same.
Acts 10:34,35. God does not show partiality—why should we?

TERMINATION
A quitting or going back, a stopping of the action, a cutting off.
Hebrews 10:25-29 Quitting the church.
Those that would quit the church, terminate the marriage vow that they have made with Christ.
Many went back and walked with Him no more.
John 6:66 Many turned and walked with Him no more.
Hebrews 10:35-39. you have need of endurance.

DENOMINATIONS
A naming of, and a distinct setting apart of those under the different names.
Such is contrary to the prayer made by Christ to His heavenly Father (John 17:20-23).
Paul said: "Let there be no divisions among you",
(1 Corinthians 1:10).
He further said: "Mark them that cause divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine."
(Romans 16:17,18).
Jesus said: "Every tree that my Father hath not planted shall be rooted up", (Matthew 15:13).
The Psalmist says: "Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it;..." (Psalm 127:1).

CONDEMNATION
Pronouncing a judgment or sentence.
Only God has the right to judge.
John 3:36 he who does not obey is lost.
Mark 16:15.16; condemned for failure to obey.
Romans 8:1. No condemnation for those in Christ.
Do we not condemn when we determine someone to be unworthy?
If someone wants to refuse the Gospel, that is their business, but we should at least offer it to them.

IMAGINATION
A mental image, conception, or notion; a creation of the mind; a fanciful or vain notion; a scheme, plot, or project, especially of evil.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6; We war against any speculation or thoughts contrary to scripture.
Proverbs 18:11; A mans wealth is in his own imagination.
Romans 1:21; did not obey God because of their own speculation.
2 Kings 5:11 “Behold I thought”
“It seems to me”

PROCRASTINATION
Putting off until some other time the thing that should be done at once. To defer or delay.
Proverbs 27:1 Don’t plan on tomorrow.
Psalm 119:60 Hasten and do not delay to keep God’s commandments.
The five foolish virgins are prime examples of procrastination (Matthew 25:1-10).
Prov. 13:12 Hope deferred makes heart sick.
Eccl. 5:4,5 Do not be late in paying your vows.
2 Corinthians 6:2 today is the day of salvation.

Conclusion
Yes, we have many dangerous nations among us, so we will have to always be on our guard that they do not overpower us.
I think the last nation mentioned, "Procrastination", is the most dangerous of all.
If we conquer this nation and obey the Lord by putting Him on in baptism, we will be well on our way to overcoming the other dangerous nations about us.
