INTRODUCTION :
1. In our last lesson we looked at those things the world may want us to have , but are not necessary for one to possess to be a valuable worker for the Lord .
2. Now let's look at those things that we must have .

I. FAITH WHICH PRODUCES THE FRUIT OF SELF-DENIAL :
1. Luke 9:23 , Matt. 16:24-26 ; Heb. 11:24-25 .
2. Evidence of self-denial , Romans 15:1-3 ; Phil. 2:4-8 ,
2 Cor. 5:14-15 ; Gal. 2:20 .
a. This says , " No matter what the cost , no matter what the sacrifice , no matter what the pain , I will be faithful ."

II. A CONVERSION WHICH REVEALS THAT ONE HAS BEEN WITH JESUS :
1. Acts 4:13 .
2. John 12:20-21 .

III. LIBERALITY :
1. I feel that people need to get out of the attitude they are giving to God !
a. We are stewards only , God has given to us we offer back to God a sacrifice an offering , if you will .
b. We offer sacrifice in our lives and money to continue God's work here .
2. This sacrifice should be done with liberality .
a. Mark 12:41-44 ; 2 Cor. 8:12 ; 9:7 .

IV. AN UNCOMPROMISING SPIRIT :
1. Like John the Baptist , Matt. 14:3-10 .
2. Stephen , Acts 7:1-53 .
3. Paul , Acts 24:25 .

V. GOOD SPIRITUAL HEALTH :
1. 2 Peter 1:8-10 ; 2 Peter 3:18 .

VI. A CONSCIOUSNESS OF BEING IN DEBT TO ALL MEN :
1. Romans 1:14-15 .
2. When it comes to spreading the Gospel and helping my Brother in Christ - I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER !

VII. A LOVE FOR THE SOULS OF MEN :
1. 1 Cor. 8:13 ; 9:22 .

VIII. A LOVE FOR ALL CHRISTIANS :
1. John 13:34-35 .
2. 2 Tim. 4:2 .
a. Love enough to encourage .
b. Love enough to rebuke .
c. Love enough to teach .
d. Love enough to be patient .

CONCLUSION :
1. We see that what we need to be of value to God , does not lie in what the world states is needed . Many godly men and women have taught the gospel ; poor , ugly , without one day of college or preaching school , some without completing grade school , physically handicapped , etc ..
2. What they had was what God wanted us to have - Faith , love and spiritual maturity .
