“THE” Most Important Thing!

Intro:

1. What to you consider being the most important thing in your life? Wife, kids, family???

2. What do you think is the most important thing in God’s life???

3. How do we know? You can see it from actions taken!!!

I. God, Who Is He?

A. Before we look at what is “THE” most important thing in God’s life lets look at whom God is!

B. God created everything! {Gen 1}

C. We can see the greatness of God! {Ps 19:1}

D. God created man or He is our creator! {Gen 1:26-27}

E. Everything is created through God! {John 1:1-4}

1. God is the Great I Am!

2. The creator of all things great or small!

3. Do we see how wonder and powerful God is?

II. What Is THE Most Important Thing To God?

A. We can see by His actions can’t we, what is important?

B. You! {Gen 2:8-10,15}

C. Look at Moses and the people in the wilderness! {Exo 16:15-36} {Num 11:6-9}

D. God has now given His only son! {John 3:16}

E. Christ is the bread of life, now! {John 6:35} {John 6:48-51}

F. What Is THE Most Important Thing In God’s Life, Mankind!

III. What Is The Most Important Thing In Your Life?

A. I don’t know what it is but I can tell you what God wants it to be! {Mark 12:29-33}

1. God loves mankind so much that He put all He had into it!

2. He loved us with all His heart, soul, mind and strength!

3. You are the most important thing in God’s life and He want to be in yours also!

B. God has to be first! {Matt 6:33}

C. God has shown us how important we are to Him and desires to see how important He is to us!

D. If God is the most important thing in out lives everything will revolve around God and not something else!

1. Each Lord’s Day where would you rather be?

2. Each Sunday night where would you rather be?

3. Each Wednesday night where would you be?

4. Each Gospel meeting, where would you rather be?

5. Each neighbor in need, where would you rather be?

Conclusion

God is the Great I Am! God thinks you are the most important thing in the world! What is the most important thing in the world to you?
