Matthew 5:32
(KJV) But I
say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of
fornication, causeth her to commit adultery; and whosoever shall marry her that
is divorced committeth adultery.
(NASB) but
I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the cause of
unchastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman
commits adultery.
(CEV) But I
tell you not to divorce your wife unless she has committed some terrible sexual
sin. If you divorce her, you will cause her to be unfaithful, just as any man
who marries her is guilty of taking another man's wife.
(EVD) But I
tell you that any person who divorces his wife is causing his wife to be guilty
of adultery. The only reason for a person to divorce his wife is if his wife
had sexual relations with another man. And any person who marries that divorced
woman is guilty of adultery.
