NEW TESTAMENT


• Our fourth lesson of commands that we need to live by.
• Introduction
• Our goal is to educate us upon what God wants us to do.
• By doing these things, we shall gain entrance into heaven.
• We have seen the “be/be not” passages.
• We have seen the “let/let not, let us/let us not” passages.
• And we have seen an additional 150 verses of miscellaneous commands.
• Here are more miscellaneous commands.

• Three Ways to Live:
• Live peacefully (ROMANS 12:18; 2 CORINTHIANS 13:11)
• Live free from anxiety and undue care
(1 CORINTHIANS 7:28-35)
• Live no longer in lusts of sin (1 PETER 4:2)

• Four Commands to "Love":
• Love your enemies (MATTHEW 5:44; LUKE 6:27,35)
• Love your fellow Christians

• Conclusion
• So far with this lesson and previous lessons, we have covered about 750 commands.
• Yes, some are specific to certain individuals and have no application to us.
• Some are written to people of another dispensation.
• But that should not keep us from trying to keep as many commands of God as we can.
