Prophecy Fulfilled
We Need Proof that Jesus Was the Messiah
The Evidence Is Astounding

Introduction:
The Case For Jesus As God
Jesus performed miracles
Jesus taught new doctrine
Jesus arose from the dead
Jesus is now at the right hand of God.
Jesus was, is, and always will be GOD.
Prophecy should be enough proof to prove Jesus is the anointed Messiah.
Peter told his readers that the proof of the Christ was in the fulfilment of prophecy. (2 Peter 1:19),

There are many prophecies concerning the Messiah.
There are also many prophecies concerning the church
There are some prophecies about the end (we are still waiting on this one).
So many prophecies and all are fulfilled in one person.
Jesus the Christ, the Messiah fulfilled all prophecies with the exception of the end times prophecy which we are still waiting for.
What are the odds of so many prophecies fulfilled in ONE person?
Each of these 39 prophecies have a 50/50 probability in one single life upon the earth.
Considering that there are 8 billion on the earth today, we could guess that since the first century there could have been as many as 100 billion people to whom even one of these prophecies could be fulfilled.
And yes, many have been treated in similar fashion as the Messiah was treated.

The odds of winning the lottery 1 in 246 million
The odds of getting struck by lightning: 1 in 16 million
The odds of one person fulfilling only one of these prophecies is 1 in 100 billion.
The odds of all 39 prophecies being fulfilled by one individual.
1 in 549,755,813,900 by some estimates.
That is trillions. And you probably need to add a lot of zeros after this number to be closer to accurate.
Then consider the other prophecies
What do we have?
Nothing more than convincing proof that Jesus was/is the Messiah, and that Jesus is God.

With all this evidence, our course is simple.
Just believe on the Lord Jesus.
We were told about these things so that we might believe.
John 20:30-31
39 specific prophecies that came to pass and were fulfilled in Jesus.
And these were not all the prophecies either.
Some estimate there are over 250 prophecies concerning the Christ.
Yes, there are subtle hints throughout the Old Testament.
All prophecy written about Jesus was fulfilled.
All prophecy written about the church is ongoing.
All prophecy written about the end is yet to come.

Conclusion
God’s wondrous plan seen and accomplished throughout history.
Will you accept Jesus as Lord?
Will you believe in the Lordship of Christ?
With this much evidence, one would be a fool to ignore such.
